2 NEWS is searching for a part-time “Live Drive 2” operator who will operate a live-capable station vehicle for news, weather, and traffic coverage. The candidate must be a strong communicator and comfortable driving a vehicle for several hours at a time. Candidate must be flexible to work any shift – including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Operate a live-capable vehicle, “Live Drive 2,” during morning newscasts for traffic, weather, and news coverageMay be asked to contribute voiced live reports during newscastsMay be asked to shoot still photos or video on an as-needed basisMay be asked to drive a live reporter during extreme weather situationsOther duties as assigned
