Qualitest is looking for Sr. Quality Engineer  with a focus on test automation and software development. This is a Remote position in United States, offering flexibility and the chance to work with top industry professionals.

 

Responsibilities:

Identify and escalate blockers or issues that may impact project timelines or quality to the lead Quality Engineer in a timely manner. Engage in daily stand-up meetings to provide status updates, communicate risks, and contribute to daily and weekly status reports. Design and develop automation scripts using the established framework. Conduct peer reviews of test scripts to ensure their effectiveness and accuracy. Execute test scripts as part of the testing lifecycle. Analyze test script results, log defects, and perform root cause analysis on script failures to address and resolve issues. Assist with the creation and maintenance of test data relevant to the automation scripts, ensuring the data supports effective testing.

 

Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience with Cypress for automation testing and strong programming skills. Proficient in using GitLab for version control and collaboration. Practical experience setting up, running, and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale test automation frameworks and solutions. Experience with Selenium or another leading automation tool. Proficiency in various testing frameworks including keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt, work independently, and hit the ground running.

 

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with different versions of Cypress. Experience with CI/CD processes and tools. Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks. Background in enterprise-wide managed testing services and knowledge transition from existing vendors. Experience with auto loan systems, especially using Alfa, is a plus.
