Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
• Support security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, contributing to report generation and action items.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as required and assisting in containment.
• Assist with the implementation of security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with the security team on documentation and process improvement.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigations and reporting.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and best practices.
• Contribute to security awareness training efforts.
• Seek opportunities for professional development in the security field.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in information security analysis
• Proficiencies in security technologies and risk assessment
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
