Job Description We are seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team. The candidate will support a growing Cloud Services practice. These strategic cloud initiatives intend to increase the bureau's IT efficiency, improve IT delivery, and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience administering cloud technologies. Duties/Responsibilities:  Direct the cloud administrative duties within a cloud environment (s) Including, but not limited to, Compute, storage, and notification and queue management, and infrastructure as Code (IaC)  Direct the assemble and documentation of agile-related artifacts (i.e., from user studies, backlog management activities, etc.).  Provide guidance regarding infrastructure movement techniques including application transfer/migration into the cloud.  Direct the development of cloud business best practices and processes.  Workdirectly withmultipleteamsandbusinessunitstounderstandbusinessneeds and translate those to IT/business capabilities  Participate as part of UAT and development process (as needed)  Other duties as assigned Pay Range based on experience and alignment with position: $40/hr - $50/hr We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Required Skills  6+ years experience administrating cloud compute, storage, and infrastructure as Code (IaC)  Experience using coding languages such as Perl, Java, PowerShell, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.  Hands-on experience using cloud services, containerization technologies, to include building Docker Container Images, scripting languages, open standard data interchange formats, job scheduling and management software tools (ECR, EKS, YAML, PYTHON, JSON, OpenPBS).  Experience with Amazon Web Services, code-defined infrastructure, configuration management tools, and CI/CD  Experience with AWS Lambda and Serverless systems  Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments  Strong verbal and communications skills, working with senior leadership and across organizational teams  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms)  Excellent communication and writing skills  BS/BA in Computer Science, a Technical Field, or other related disciplines OR 4+ years of experience supporting an AWS Desired Skills  Federal government experience  WorkingknowledgeofJiraprojects,workflows,issuetypes,permissions,andnotifications  2+ years experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, BitBucket  Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Architect with Google Cloud Platform: Infrastructure null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
