Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated OutSystems Developer Intern to join our Agile Scrum development team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in building enterprise-level applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in .NET development, SQL databases, and a desire to expand their skill set in the rapidly evolving low-code space. You will contribute to live projects, translating business requirements into functional applications while leveraging the efficiency and power of OutSystems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and deploy OutSystems applications. Leverage your 1.NET and SQL knowledge to extend OutSystems capabilities and overcome platform limitations. Analyze and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and detailed documentation. Deconstruct existing systems or applications into comprehensive spec sheets and diagrams, then effectively replicate functionalities within the OutSystems environment. Participate actively in an Agile Scrum team, engaging in sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a range of stakeholders.  

QualificationsEducation: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

Technical Skills:  

Proven experience with .NET development. Strong understanding of SQL databases and data modeling principles. Familiarity with low-code platforms and their advantages/limitations. Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation. 

Soft Skills:  

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

Prior experience with OutSystems or other low-code development platforms. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
