[Bosch R&D - Internship] Technical Documentation Intern

Company DescriptionBosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering R&D center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd).In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Job DescriptionRead and understand technical legal requirements.Summarize technical legal requirements and texts according to defined templates and document them in a database.Compare the technical requirements and derive proposals for actions related to products.Support continuous improvement in the team, for example, working process, team’s knowledge sharing and documentation, work quality, and harmonization among sub-teams.

Bosch mobility products: automotive and non-automotive products, systems, software, services.

The technical legal documents cover, but are not limited to, the following areas: vehicle safety, exhaust treatment, On-Board Diagnostics, cybersecurity, materials, data protection, charging, emissions, fuel consumption, energy consumption, EMC, reliability, radar sensors for autonomous driving or vibration.

QualificationsThird-year or final-year students, or Master's students majoring in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical, etc.) or Law commit to a full-time 6-month internship. Priority on Electrics or Automation.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Attention to detail, a passion for working with technical legal documents and texts.Responsiveness, agility and a willingness to take on responsibility.Good MS Office skills, programming using python is a plus.Technical knowledge or understanding in one or more technical areas is a plus.Experience with laws and regulations in the automotive industry is preferred.
