[Chubb Life] Manager, Compliance

Position Objective:

Conduct reviews, risk evaluations, and training on Agent Codes of Conduct related to agency operations and insurance business. Implement risk prevention measures to ensure compliance of the sales team and all activities of the insurance agency team (including sales representatives, agency management, operational and business development levels of the Agency Channel, and other Distribution Channels with contracts with the Company) with relevant regulations throughout the operational process.

 

Responsibilities:

Support the Head of the Compliance and Internal Control Department in managing and monitoring the activities of the Sales Compliance function, ensuring the completion of tasks in the annual Departmental operational plan, including the following tasks: Build and update internal regulations of the Sales Compliance function to ensure compliance with relevant regulations at specific time periods. Develop and implement annual and ad-hoc compliance training programs for the insurance agency team in accordance with the arising requirements. Conduct sales compliance reviews to assess and evaluate the insurance agent activities of the agency team, in line with the planned schedule or arising requirements, in order to identify and address issues related to business quality. Investigate and handle cases of misconduct by the insurance agency teams of the Company. Ensure prompt identification and reporting of serious violations to the Chubb Life Vietnam (CLV) Management, Regional Compliance team and Fraud Investigation Departments. Prepare regular, ad-hoc reports and arrange Distribution Disciplinary Committee meetings as requested by the Group/Regional Compliance and the CLV, following specific incidents. Participate in the development and implementation of projects and initiatives related to the business quality of the insurance agency team/distribution channels as required by the CLV and Group. Manage the tasks and activities of members in the Sales Compliance function to ensure that the execution of tasks meets the requirements of the CLV and is in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations. Collaborate closely with the other Compliance function to develop and implement the annual Compliance Awareness programs  in order to promote compliance awareness and adherence. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Compliance and Internal Control Department and/or higher authorities at specific time periods.

Carry out specialized tasks in a timely and efficient manner, meeting the requirements of the Compliance & Internal Control Department and the CLV, while effectively contributing the Sales Compliance function to ensure strong and high-performing operations that contribute to the Company's development. Invest in the development of technical skills and soft skills for the subordinate staff to meet the changing job requirements at different time periods Possess the ability to evaluate and provide appropriate solutions and decisions in line with the strategies and development directions of the Compliance & Internal Control Department and/or CLV
