Introduction to the job

Supervise KR customs operation and to ensure all the customs related activities compliance in a manner that minimizes exposures and customs duties and reduce customs process time in the supply chain while complying with Korean regulations.

Role and responsibilities

- Manage daily customs operation(import/export) for Cymer Factory shipment in compliance with local regulation

- Shipping document preparation related to bonded factory operation.

- Manage shipping documents

- Coordinate with broker/admin function to correct the entry in a timely manner to customs authority

- Supporting ICY billing accuracy

- Maintain local duty saving program

- Timely response to internal/external stakeholders inquiry on shipment to Korea and support them

- Develop sharepoint to share customs information and knowledge

- General support for customs activities 

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

- Bachelor’s degree in international business, economics, finance or similar field and minimal 7 years’ experience in a corporate environment. 
- Experience in any of the following is a plus: Import, export, global logistics and internal controls.

- Preference for experience in a bonded factory and 'Bonded Warehouse Specialist Certificate(보세사)'

- Experience using ERP system (Oracle, SAP etc)

Skills

- Bonded goods caretaker qualification and bonded factory experience preferred

- Knowledge of international supply chain processes including incoterms and origin.
- Independent work initiative; ability to figure out solutions to problems and implement those solutions.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and to take direction and change course.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Detail-oriented, comfortable with data/system and able to understand complex rules and requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Good written/spoken English
- Strong sense of responsibility, supportive and open mind
