POLICY MANAGER (J&J INNOVATIVE MEDICINES JAPAN) Location: Tokyo, Japan J&J Innovative Medicines Japan is looking for an exceptional Policy Manager to join our Japan Market Access Policy department, based in Tokyo. The Policy Manager is a key position in our Japan operation that will focus on analyzing changes in the policy environment and communicating these updates to internal stakeholders at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM), as well as collaborating with marketing and policy teams to address policy-related challenges and propose strategies. They will build strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including government officials and industry associations, is essential for managing regulatory changes and enhancing J&J IM's reputation in the policy landscape. Key Responsibilities: + Analyze policy environment changes and report those changes to Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) internal stakeholders (Japan and global counterparts) + Work closely with BU marketing and IEGP team to input forthcoming policy environment changes and policy related issues relevant to respective product area and propose countermeasures. + Execute planned countermeasures and strategies to shape regulations and policy. + Develop the material with a deep understanding of the narrative and target stakeholders in both Japanese and English. + Develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders to deal effectively with proposed laws and regulatory change including + Legislators / Government officials / Advisors of MHLW and PMDA + Industry associations (PhRMA, JPMA, FIRM, ACCJ) + Work closely and connect J&J IM Japan with the Asia Pacific regional team and global counterparts + Enhance J&J IM presence and reputation in policy area through collaboration with external stakeholders. **Qualifications** Required Experience: + Strong track record in healthcare policy related work in such organization as pharmaceutical company, government, consulting etc. + Experience in writing, formulating policy related document both in English and Japanese. + Global work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. + Good understanding of pharmaceutical company operation (products, regulations, healthcare system, reimbursement) Other Skills and Capabilities + Fluent Japanese and English (oral and written) + Logical thinking + Networking capabilities with healthcare policy stakeholders + Credo based leader that drives integrity throughout the organization + Strong communication skills (oral and written) + Ability to Connect, Lead, Shape and Deliver Education Requirements: + Bachelor degree + An MBA, MPH or Master degree is highly regarded
