The Embedded Test Lead is responsible for leading the overall testing activities in the project.
Tasks of Embedded Test Lead
Leading the test activities at the project level.Coordinating with domain project managers to achieve testing timelines in the project and performs escalations handling.Reviewing the test strategies of the domains (Sys & SW).Coordinating with different domains (Sys, SW, HW, Mech.) to ensure test activities are implemented as per the defined test strategies.Preparing Overall Test Summary (including defect summary).Reviewing related CDQ metrics (project level).Coordinating with domains (Sys/SW, HW, Mech.) to get overall view of the testing specific competency management.Performing risk management (Identification, assessment, actions definition and tracking).Participates in process/quality/QGC audits along with the domain specific project managers.Reporting the test status to internal and external stakeholders.Tracking closure of Audit findings related to testing.Implementing domain-specific testing efficiency & excellence measures and utilization of core assets.Performing project-specific purchase activities for setting up of test infrastructure (HW equipment, SW licenses etc.).Managing test infrastructure in the project (e.g., sharing of test equipment etc.)

QualificationsMandatory
Bachelor / Master degree, major in electronics or mechatronics or computer science.At least 5 years of experience in embedded testing.Good understanding of microcontroller & embedded system.Good hold on reading schematics and data sheets for components.Self-discipline, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit.Good communication skills and English both in oral and written.Preferable
Experience in Python language for test automation development.Knowledge on DevOps, CI-CT.Experience in automotive domain.Hands-on experience in CAN communication protocol and Vector tools.Knowledge of ASPICE, functional safety (ISO26262).ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation / Advanced level.Additional InformationWhy BOSCH?
