**Job Summary:**
Ensure assigned accounts meet or exceed sales objectives. Provide systematic education and referral support working closely with physicians, marketing and field colleagues. Work with
regional manager to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential, andestablish and achieve sales objectives within assigned accounts. Coordinate activities with
Therapy Specialists. Negotiate and maintain contracts and other relationships with customers. Keep company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. 50-75% travel required.
**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Develop and implement sales strategies by determining relevant factors (product, reimbursement needs, etc.) of existing and potential accounts to effectively and appropriately
promote the company’s products to hospital personnel and physicians. Identify opportunities for collaboration and synergistic engagement within Structural Heart and, where applicable,
other parts of Abbott. Collaborate with diverse constituents and physicians within the center
(interventionalists, echocardiologists, sonographers, cardiac anesthesiologists, CV surgeons, catheter lab management, etc.) to generate referrals, procedure scheduling, and help ensure good clinical outcomes for patients. Establish durable, effective relationships with customers
and referral sites. As needed, assist coordination of clinical case coverage, technical support, in-service programs and training to support physicians and staff. Assist in coordination of
patient screening programs and events. Develop action plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) by analyzing sales figures, reports and other analytics and discuss any issues with Regional
Managers to help the organization achieve its sales goals. Coordinate site activation process for new accounts. Collaborate with Therapy Specialists and Therapy Advancement Managers.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers covering clinical outcomes and issues that grow or constrain MitraClip procedures by account. Represent Abbott at periodic companysponsored and third-party events.
Accountability
This position is responsible for achieving sales goals for assigned accounts and managing and
obtaining results from a variety of external constituents that they do not directly supervise.
**BUSINESS EXPERIENCE**
2-5 years of related work experience required, medical industry preferred. Strong sales and clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional
cardiology and cardiac surgery, familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging, also strongly preferred.
**EDUCATION/TRAINING**
BS/BA or equivalent experience required. Degree in Life Sciences or Marketing preferred.
