You will be responsible for:
• Immerse yourself in the business, understanding its goals and challenges to
drive strategic HR decisions that support its success.
• Proactively integrate with divisional and global teams, facilitating solutions to
complex organizational challenges, often stepping into difficult situations to
assist in resolving issues.
• Lead initiatives focused on organizational effectiveness and align HR
strategies with the evolving needs of the business.
• Navigate and mediate complex employee relations to facilitate positive
outcomes that contribute to business success.
• Support transformative organizational changes by aligning HR processes and
strategies with business transformation goals.
• Regularly interact with global teams, bringing a positive attitude towards
English communication and a mindset conducive to thriving in a global
organization.
• Initiate talent management efforts, including leadership development and
succession planning, to ensure the organization recognizes and maximizes
your contribution.
You will need to have:
• More than 10 years of experience in strategic HRBP roles with a proven records of proactively engaging with business units.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, strategic planning, and business
partnership aligned with business success.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its business
processes, enabling you to understand and meet business-specific HR needs.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive impactful strategic
initiatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills with a strong
willingness to engage in English & Japanese.
We would prefer for you to have:
• Previous experience in a strategic HR role within a large multinational
organization.
• Advanced degree or certification in Human Resources, Strategic Business
Management, or Organizational Leadership.
• Experience in leading strategic HR projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with the business strategies and organizational frameworks of
AstraZeneca.
• Positive attitude towards working with gloal teams and proven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural ecvironment.
