1. Assist AP development with DB object creation, modifications, permission and design optimization.
2. Monitor system performance, respond to alarms in real time, and handle problem resolution.
3. Assist with planning, building, maintaining, managing, troubleshooting, and upgrading MS-SQL and Oracle databases.
4. Collaborate on database data backup and recovery plans, and conduct regular drills.
5. Support operational needs for new system project requirements.
6. Assist with certain Infra BAU tasks (e.g., batch monitoring).
1. Database Expertise: Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server database principles, management tools, and best practices.
2. Proficient SQL Skills: Strong command of SQL syntax, commands, and database objects such as stored procedures and triggers.
3. System Administration: Experience managing Unix and Windows operating systems.
4. AP Development Experience: Experience in application development is a plus.
5. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
6. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in planning, building, and managing Oracle and SQL Server databases; OCA/OCP certification is a plus.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex database issues.
8. Demonstrated passion for database administration and a commitment to operational excellence.
9. Good English communication skills in written.
