The intern will be a Dock Firmware Developer for Real-time operating system (RTOS) application development
The project involves a proof of concept for next-generation AI dock design, enhancing coding efficiency, and improving code quality through processes like CICD and Gandalf
The intern will gain technical skills in docking/PC products and ARM-based MCU firmware development, presentation skills in consolidating reports and preparing materials in English, and communication skills by working with different function teams
Weekly trainings by experts from the Dock FW team will be arranged to help the intern acquire the necessary skills, with tasks assigned to ensure they are on the right track
Preferred qualifications: Background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, familiarity with C#/C++/Python, and a willingness to learn new technologies

Empower Your Future: Join the BIOS/FW development team on the WOA (Windows On ARM) project with Qualcomm CPU, where you'll enable new BIOS/FW features and resolve issues through collaboration
Build Expertise: Learn and understand BIOS/FW development, the ecosystem, and the working model on the WOA platform. Develop your skills in technology, industry notebook feature development, and personal communication
Structured Learning Path: The project is divided into three phases: understanding notebook industry technology and BIOS development, studying HP-specific features on x86 and ARM platforms, and participating in joint feature development on the WOA platform
Ideal Candidate: Computer Science or Electrical Engineering majors who are familiar with C and Python, PC/NB architecture, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. A basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, CPU architecture, and Windows OS drivers is a plus
