Job Description

As middle trim technology leader, you are responsible for leading the development of middle trim (centralized ECU) and landing on several projects, in the field of assisted and automated driver assistance systems (ADAS). You need to have customer driven thought and whole technical decision picture, leading the technical team to work out the customer project on time and successfully deliver to the customer side.

Job Responsibilities

You are responsible for leading the development of middle trim ECU (centralized ECU) and landing on several projects, middle trim ECU supports both driving functions and parking functions, for driving functions, supporting at most L2+, like highway E2E and some urban E2E, for parking functions, supporting APA, RPA and HPA functions.Lead engineering team of middle trim ECU (centralized ECU) which has L1, L2 an L2++ driving and parking functions allocated, develop clear strategies of whole engineering area in platform project. Project includes:system, software and hardware architecture designAlgorithm of perception, map & localization, planning & controlverification & validation solutionYou will manage the technology team, which involves all the aspects, e.g., ViPer (Video Perception) design and engineering, system architecture design, software architecture design, map & localization, planning & control, verification & validation, hardware and so on, thus you need a full scope of the whole process and good technological intuition & experience to lead the team.Ensure customer project successful executed within defined milestones and budgets. Break down milestone from project into technical checkpoints and drive engineering research and development to meet each milestones.You need to be customer driven and clearly know milestones of each project, you are responsible to break down milestone from project into technical checkpoints, and work w/ TPM and tech team to finish every checkpoints.Identify and assess project risks, develop risk response mechanisms, and ensure stable operation of the project.You are responsible to solve some potential key technical problems, which would be the barrier of the project, during the period, you need to organize technical team to discuss, experiment and finally make the decision.Recruit, train, and manage the R&D team, motivate team members, and improve team performance.Ensure quality control during R&D and drive test validation to ensure high quality delivery.Maintain an understanding of cutting-edge technology trends and competitive environments in the field of autonomous driving and promote technological innovation.Communicate effectively with high level management, partners and customers to report project progress and results.You are responsible to cover the internal cooperation of different teams, both local team and global team, in order to decide the best system components from different teams.

Qualifications

1.Education: Master degree in computer science, automotive or electronic engineering areas

2.Working Experience: 5+ years working experience in ADAS driving parking ECU development, at least 2+ experience on leading the ECU development team, including ViPer, system architecture, software architecture and so on.

3.Language skills: Advanced English

4.Knowledge/Skills:

Proficient in leading the team with language of C++, C, and python, Experienced in system architecture design (e.g. MBSE),  and familiar w/ deep learning computer vision.Proficient in ECU and ADAS system development, especially in at least 2 below areas developing experience:ViPer, LiPer, P&C, BSW, system architecture, ECU hardware.At least 2+ experienced in technical leading, successfully leading the team to deliver the project to customers.Proficient in ADAS areas, familiar w/ ADAS customer’s needs on ECU functions, recommend to have experience working in COEM or Tier-1 company.Has forward engineering concept in ADAS domain.Experience in international team communication.Basic knowledge of FuSa,SOTIF and security  Familiar with automotive Industry Engineering Development Process(e.g. ASPICE)Good communication and coordination skills, able to communicate and cooperate effectively with people at different levels.
