Analyst, Store Operations
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Operations Analyst to join our dynamic auto parts team. The primary focus of this role is the review and analysis of various metrics including: RGNs, Core Accounts, Bad Debt, Store Billings, Cycle Counts, Pcard usage and Cash variances to manage the reconciliation activities Additionally, the Store Operations Analyst will present field leadership with actionable information about these metrics and collaborate closely with Loss Prevention and Operations teams in identifying operational and compliance opportunities, and developing plans of resolution. Responsibilities
Review all store operations databases to ensure accuracy of reported information.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation items as per company policies and procedures.Partner with field teams to assess aged and ageing RGN trends, investigate cause of RGN discrepancies, and provide weekly updates on resolved and outstanding issues related RGNs and credit flow.Partner with distribution centers, vendors, and the NAPA DCSC team to investigate cause of credit discrepancies.Review data and trend analysis of AR accounts listed as bad debt to aid field teams in collection and root cause analysis including Core Account management.Review Company Pcard activity to ensure compliance in the field with reconciliation at the store level and to identify anomalies to be investigated by the Loss Prevention Team.Report identified anomalies to the loss prevention team.Review cash handling metrics to identify procedural issues with store deposits, collection from COD customers and daily over and short activity within the stores.Provide feedback and guidance related to the evolution of the analyst role as NAPA adapts to the onboarding of enhanced store and supply chain systems and controls.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience and High School Diploma required.Strong written and verbal communication skills.At least five years of relevant analytical work experience; NAPA store experience is a plus.Basic understanding of accounting principles.Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.Strong analytical problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.Physical Demands / Working Environment
