What impact you'll make?
You will drive strategic sourcing KPIs and execution for commodity spend; co-ordination and process improvement of Direct Material Sourcing and Procurement between Hungary Production/Materials and Global Sourcing organizations.

What you’ll do

Build sourcing strategy for commodity spendCollaborate building sourcing strategy around spend to ensure site/Customer/Project requirements are consideredDrive RFQs and vendor price negotiations on annual contract/price list and NPI partsEnsure contract/ordering strategy execution (prices, delivery and quality terms) for suppliers,Manage major fulfillment issue resolution with Materials Management Team and the Suppliers,Manage major programs modifications to meet business requirements,Manage product modifications, customers specific configurations and options by communicating the new specifications and needs to the suppliers already selected,Own and drive sourcing KPI metrics for the commodity (spend, savings, net negotiated terms (NNT), best cost country (BCC), Single/Sole Source)Support On Time Delivery and Quality (escape to GE and Customer) KPI improvement,Initiate, Drive and prioritize qualification initiatives & associated budgets,Own planning processes for volume spend, savings and cashMaintain clean commodity taxonomy classificationFind and develop new suppliers to increase overall product competitivenessManage commercial issue resolution, cost recoveries with SuppliersPrepare periodic and ad hoc management report outs

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Business or Technical University degreeSignificant experience in SourcingAnalytical and communication skills,Fluent English and Hungarian knowledgeProject Management experience,Basic financial & legal knowledge,Self starter, continuous improvement/problem solver attitude
