Job Title: .Net Architect Location: Remote Job ID: SO#00060727751 Roles/Responsibilities: Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements. Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. Creates feature test strategies and environment needs. Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements. Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement. Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs. Qualifications: A minimum 12 years of experience with C#, and WCF or REST; Deep understanding of web service and SOA principles, HTTP, and REST. 6 months experience and core understanding of development practices in container environments, such as Docker. Prior experience developing with a messaging platform such as RabbitMQ, Tibco, or equivalent. Core understanding of SOLID principles. Excellent communication skills. Experience and knowledge of Health Care Industry desired. Experience with MongoDB is a plus. Experience with contact center operations is helpful. Experience with numerous design patterns. Must have experience working with MSSQL and XML data sets. Must have experience working on an Agile team. Must have experience with Atlassian JIRA. Must have experience with Atlassian Confluence. Multi-database, multi-programming language or multi-business application is preferred. Nice to have experience working with OpenText xPression. Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field or 3 or more years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. The annual salary for this role is between $66K-$134K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
