This international industry leader has an immediate contract opportunity in Montvale, NJ, for a Full Stack .NET Developer. Should be able to work onsite 2 days/week at this location, within core work hours of 9am-5pm. Will be working in an Agile/Scrum environment with 3 week sprints and be responsible for developing software prototypes, coding, testing and debugging programs according to computer engineering specifications. Will be modifying, expanding and updating applications within the tax technology practice. Will be communicating with a team that includes analysts, engineers and quality assurance testers in order to coordinate and document application development and testing.
Contract Duration: 12 Months (with strong chance of extension or conversion) Required Skills & Experience Need at least 6 years experience in .Net development .NET Core, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, Web API,SQL, T-SQL, OOP, Custom Windows Services Bachelor's Degree Desired Skills & Experience Azure, Azure DevOps, Angular, Alteryx, RabbitMQ, Design Patterns Strong communication and eager to learn and take up new tasks. Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing. Advance professional with ability to apply concepts, practices & procedures Works with minimal direction and able to lead and train others High level of expertise in required skill set For emerging skill sets, years of experience may matter less than depth of knowledge & expertise but traditionally may have 5-10 years of experience
