You will be responsible for designing and developing new components of the Claim Search product as well as enhancing existing features. You will develop for our fully cloud environment across very large data sets and gain experience on a diverse set of technology tools with exposure to backend data processing, large entity resolution algorithms, data matching, search, APIs, integrations and front-end development. Our headquarters are in Jersey City, New Jersey, and the Anti-Fraud Analytics team is spread across countries.
4-7 years of experience or similar ability in software development.Fluent in ASP.NET Core/Web API. Experience working with Classic ASP and MVC Patterns.Fluent in SQL, XML, JSON.Experience with Classic ASP and MVC Patterns.Experience with AWS or other cloud technology. Experience working in HTML/CSS and Web Application Frameworks such as Angular.Experience working with Message Queues.Experience in creating and consuming RESTful services & APIs.Working knowledge of software development tools, testing methodologies and Agile processes.Experience with continuous integration and processes.Experience in Docker, Elasticsearch a plus.Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one as well as in large-group setups.Experience leading small technical teams.Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.Effectively translated complex customer requirements and recommended system solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audience.Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) from four-year college or university.
Design and build high performance, scalable and reliable component-based applications using latest technologies such as AWS, Docker, Elasticsearch etc.Design clear and concise REST service interfaces with corresponding documentation.Work directly with engineering teams, product owners, QA and UXWrite unit tests in a TDD (Test Driven Design) manner to ensure code quality.Write integration tests based on defined acceptance criteria and in conjunction with QA.Develop new applications as well as enhance and support existing applications.Effectively resolve production problems in a timely manner by rapidly organizing and deploying the appropriate resources.Continuously review problems to determine the root cause to prevent them in the future.Ensure that secure coding practices are followed throughout the software life cycle.Learn from senior team members regarding proper application design and security.Experiment with new technologies and provide recommendations for product improvement.Mentor junior team members in proper application design and security.Effectively communicate software solution expectations to internal customers, team members and other stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.Participate in planning meetings, retrospectives, daily stand ups, and other meetings as part of the software development process.
