**Description** SAIC is hiring a **.NET Developer** located in **Pensacola, FL** . This position will be supporting Training & Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The roles primary focus is with Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS). The NEAS Software Developer will require: + High-quality software engineering advisory services, software systems planning, integration, and architecture support. + Comprehensive support, maintenance, and enhancement of software using a technology stack that includes AWS technologies, Visual Studio/C#, JavaScript, SQL Server databases. + Fixing bugs, converting, and upgrading legacy code to new technologies, and developing new software features. + Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of software code. + Participate with production deployment process, release planning, creating documents for the release, and creating scripts for the release. + Perform environment Integration testing, such as development, staging and production environment to assure that all functionalities work as expected. + · Follows and ensures the system is maintained in accordance with all DoD standards. + ATO controls are met through all phases of the SDLC, to include adding tools to conduct static and dynamic application security testing. + Support software development and integration efforts while adhering to government guidance for strategy, planning, documentation, and implementation. + Implement STIGs and maintain artifacts to ensure an authority to operate (ATO) exists for the system. + Maintain SQL Server databases used by the NEAS application. + Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. **Qualifications** **Required experience and education:** + Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution or six (6) years of experience. **Required skills:** + Hands-on experience with software development in Visual Studio/C# and JavaScript/JQuery. + Cloud-based development experience, preferably in AWS GovCloud. + Proficiency in SQL. + Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. + Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks. **Certifications:** + Required: Active Security+ certification or comparable to comply with DoD Cyber Workforce requirements as highlighted in the education requirements. + Desired: AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. **Clearance required:** + Must have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret. **Desired skills:** + Experience in DevSecOps best practices, software development life cycles, automation toolchains and CI/CD pipeline. + Experience with building and working with container images. + Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. + Strong written and verbal communication skills.
