A week in the life of a .NET Engineer:
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of new features, fixes and technical improvements to the sensors that perform the verification of a Travel Document and Travelers' Biometrics.You will integrate quality and matching algorithms included in SDKs provided by specialized teams in Thales and also third parties.You will participate in the architecture evolution, technical design, estimation of the workload and also contribute to the requirements specification.You will collaborate with the team to write the technical documentation related to these activities.You will be a team player inside one of our Scrum teams.To succeed in this job, you must have:
At least 3 years of experience in software developmentExperience with modern .NET 6 or newerProficiency in C#Experience with Visual StudioExperience with a Unit Testing frameworkAble to read and write technical documentation and source code in EnglishFluency in English (B2+) and SpanishWe will value:
Experience on integration of Hardware SDKs with C# APIsExperience managing image data, video, or biometrics dataUse of REST APIs and Kafka or other distributed messaging technologyKnowledge of Docker containers and KubernetesKnowledge of Kibana or Grafana to analyze technical metricsJenkins or GitLab CI pipelinesKnowledge of a second programming language: Java, Python, etc.What do we offer?
