SAIC is hiring a **.Net Developer** to support the US Navy in **Pensacola, FL** .
**JOB DESCRIPTION** :
This position will be supporting Training & Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The roles primary focus is with Navy Inspector General Hotline Tracking System (NIGHTS).
**JOB DUTIES** :
+ High-quality software engineering advisory services, software systems planning, integration, and architecture support.
+ Comprehensive support, maintenance, and enhancement of software using a technology stack that includes AWS technologies, Visual Studio/C#, JavaScript, SQL Server databases.
+ Fixing bugs, converting, and upgrading legacy code to new technologies, and developing new software features.
+ Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of software code.
+ Participate with production deployment process, release planning, creating documents for the release, and creating scripts for the release.
+ Perform environment Integration testing, such as development, staging and production environment to assure that all functionalities work as expected.
+ Follows and ensures the system is maintained in accordance with all DoD standards. ATO controls are met through all phases of the SDLC, to include adding tools to conduct static and dynamic application security testing.
+ Support software development and integration efforts while adhering to government guidance for strategy, planning, documentation, and implementation.
+ Implement STIGs and maintain artifacts to ensure an authority to operate (ATO) exists for the system.
+ Maintain SQL Server databases.
+ Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
**Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE** :
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution and 0 years of experience. Additional years of experience/certification accepted in lieu of a degree (Active Security+ certification or comparable to comply with DoD Cyber Workforce requirements as highlighted in the education requirements).
+ Hands-on experience with software development in Visual Studio/C# and JavaScript/JQuery.
+ Cloud-based development experience, preferably in AWS GovCloud.
+ Proficiency in SQL.
+ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
+ Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
+ Candidate must be a US Citizen.
+ Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor qualified candidates for a clearance.
**DESIRED EXPERIENCE** :
+ AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
+ Experience in DevSecOps best practices, software development life cycles, automation toolchains and CI/CD pipeline.
+ Experience with building and working with container images.
+ Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
