WHAT WE OFFER: Our W2 employees can expect the following benefits: + Competitive pay + Health/Dental Insurance + Group Life Insurance + 401K + HSA/FSA + Pre-Tax Transportation Program + Generous Paid Time Off/Holiday Policy SCOPE OF SERVICES: As a Senior Application Developer, your responsibilities include: + Performing detailed application design, database design, coding, and unit/integration/performance testing. + Developing and integrating complex application modules using .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5, ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, n-Tier architecture, SOA, XML/JSON-based web services, and development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2017/2019 and SQL Server Management Studio. + Implementing web-based user interfaces in .NET using Razor/MVC4/MVVM architectural patterns, AJAX, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. + Designing and managing relational databases, including normalization and T-SQL/stored procedures in SQL Server 2017/2019. + Building secure web applications with user authentication and role-based access control. + Generating reports using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), ad-hoc reporting, and data migration/transformation using SSIS packages. + Performing configuration management, continuous integration, version control, testing, and document management using tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager, Team System, and SharePoint Server. + Implementing web services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). + Participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), following Waterfall, RUP, and Agile development methodologies. + Developing technical documentation, including use case diagrams, application architecture, class/sequence diagrams, and high-level/detailed design documents. + Working closely with business analysts, subject matter experts, and development teams throughout project lifecycles. + Assisting in software testing, including identification and resolution of defects. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. + Minimum of 4 years of experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing, and implementation. + Experience in technical and user documentation, software conversions, and database development across different environments, including mainframe, mid-range, personal computers, and laptops. PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: + BA/BS Degree in a technology-related field or other degree preferred. + Advanced-level certifications and/or training in application development. + Microsoft Certified Professional certification. + 6-8 years of experience in object-oriented design, development, testing, and deployment of mission-critical business applications, at least 6 years in a web/client-server environment. + Extensive hands-on development experience with Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies for web, web service, and desktop application development using C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, HTML5, AJAX, WPF, WCF, MVC, jQuery, Entity Framework, LINQ, and Visual Studio 2017/2019. + Strong data analysis and ad-hoc reporting skills using T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Excel. + Expertise in map-based application development and GIS mapping software, with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online preferred. + Proficiency in web front-end development, preferably with Microsoft certification. + Experience with relational database design, normalization, and stored procedures using SQL Server 2014/2017/2019, SSIS packages, and data modeling tools (ERwin/ERStudio). + Strong SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) or Crystal Reports skills for reporting and analytics. + Experience working with application lifecycle management tools for configuration management, version control, and testing (Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps is preferred). + Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone, Angular, React. + Proficiency in responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap. + Experience integrating GIS tools and mapping services (ESRI ArcGIS, Google Maps, Bing, OpenGeo). + Understanding of wireless/mobile/disconnected architectures and applications. + Ability to understand business requirements and estimate development timelines. + Expertise in building large-scale information systems. + Experience implementing online permitting and payment processing solutions. + Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and Decision Support Systems. + Prior experience working in federal, state, or local government projects.
