We are recruiting a newly graduated Procurement & Supply Chain Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in procurement, supplier management, and logistics. The intern will support daily procurement activities, assist in optimizing supply chain processes, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in procurement and supply chain management.
Please note that the successful candidate will need to be registered and complete a company-selected and SETA-approved learnership.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement/SCM Intern
Assist in purchasing and procurement activities, including query resolutions. Support supplier management, including evaluating vendor performance and maintaining supplier records. Support B-BBBE verification process. Facilitate Inter-Branch collaborative processes. Conduct market research on suppliers, pricing trends, and cost-saving opportunities. Assist in inventory management, ensuring accurate stock records and tracking critical sku supplies. Analyze procurement data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Assist in coordinating logistics and transportation of goods and related queries. Prepare reports and presentations related to procurement performance and supply chain efficiency. Support the team in contract negotiations and tender processes. Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and supply chain operations.SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle) is a plus but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Benefits:
