Job Title: Pre Award, Research Administrator

Job Description

A Pre-Award Research Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the pre-award phase of research grants and contracts.

Here are some key responsibilities typically associated with this position:

Proposal Development: Assists Principal Investigators (PIs) in developing and preparing research proposals, including budget creation and ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures that all proposals comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. Liaison Role: Acts as a liaison between PIs, the Sponsored Projects Office, and funding agencies to facilitate smooth communication and address any issues that arise during the proposal process. Documentation and Submission: Manages the submission of proposals, including compiling necessary documents, entering data into electronic systems, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet deadlines.Training and Guidance: Provides training and guidance to research staff and faculty on pre-award processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in pre-award, research administration or a related fieldStrong knowledge of federal regulations and grant management rules

This is a 100% remote position

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $96000.00/yr.
