1434995 Customer Delivery Data Center Technical Leader

This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil. The successful applicant must have a current US Government TS/SCI Clearance. Must live within commuting distance and be able to work onsite 4-5 days per week in the Tampa, FL location. Meet the Team Our Consulting Engineers are an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team delivering Business Critical Services to our customers! We combine the power of Cisco Analytics and Knowledge with the outstanding technical expertise and consulting (that’s you) to drive value, innovation, and adoption in our customer’s network. We help them to reduce risk, drive innovation, and improve their network to meet business objectives. We are the customer’s trusted advisor and expert, helping the customer understand their network, reduce risks, and take advantage of the technology. We work closely with Cisco Engineering to advocate for innovation for our customer and as a liaison, share what is coming with our customers to help them be the groundbreakers of technology. Your Impact As a Consulting Engineer, you will help drive the effort to transform current and future network and data center architecture for our DoD customer. You will provide Data Center support through testing and verification of solutions, along with hands on support to customers as technology is being deployed. You will build customer deliverable documentation for design and acceptance testing. Bring your creative solutions and be a valuable asset to our team. Minimum Qualifications: * TS/SCI Clearance * 2-5 years relevant experience in Cisco Data Center technologies and familiarity of how they are deployed in a mixed vendor DoD network * Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP)/Data Center or equivalent skills (Data Center technologies - including ACI, Nexus, Nexus Dashboard, MDS/SAN) * CISSP, or Sec+, CCNP or equivalent is required Preferred Qualifications: * Proven expertise in delivering Cisco standard methodologies and leading cross-functional teams to resolve sophisticated network problems * Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively * Proficient in next-generation Data Center technologies, including Software-Defined Networking (SDN), automation tools (e.g., Cisco Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator, Ansible, Terraform), and security features (e.g., CoPP, ACLs, AAA) * Superb communication, consulting, and customer relationship skills, capable of building productive teamwork and engaging with senior leadership * Ability to multitask, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and articulate a vision that inspires change #WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
