Qualitest is growing and we are looking for our next FinOps Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv!

 

Responsibilities

 

Monitor, analyze, and report on cloud spending and usage patterns. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to reduce wastage and improve efficiency. Work with budgeting tools and cloud cost management platforms to forecast and track cloud spend. Collaborate with alongside engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of cloud usage with financial targets and operational requirements. Build and maintain dashboards / detailed reports on cloud spend and optimization efforts. Stay up-to-date with the latest in cloud technologies and FinOps practices to continuously drive improvements. Assist in financial planning by providing forecasts of cloud spending. Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior management. Negotiate with external service providers to secure optimal pricing and service agreements.

 

Job Requirements

 

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and their pricing models. Experience with cloud cost management tools and technologies. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects. Ability to negotiate prices with external vendors – great advantage
