Tape/grease ends of chain.Grind the tops of the chains if painted or rusty.Ream out bolt holes if chain was painted.Grind off back of shoes if painted or rusty.Lay shoes on track.Lay out hardware on the shoes.Place bolts into holes and tighten down nuts with impact gun.Torque down all bolts per specifications using the torque machine and/or hand torque wrench.Fill out all paper work for quality control.Roll up and tie/clamp track and then place ID tag on track.Must be able to use hand tools, grinders, drills and impact guns.Required to read and understand work orders. Understand orders given by line leaders and management.Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day and to lift up to 70 LBS.Written and oral communication skills.Ability to respond to common inquiries.Ability to communicate information to Supervisors and Managers.Knowledge of manufacturing.Reasoning and problem-solving ability.
Forklift experience and certification is a plus!
