**Structural Welder** **Jacksonville, FL** **$21-$25/ hr** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to perform a variety of welding functions on structural plates using SMAW and FCAW processes. This role involves reading blueprints for welding insignia and applying them to assemble components on piping and structural systems. **Responsibilities:** + Identify, measure, hand dress, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding according to job-specific requirements. + Conduct visual inspections of pre- and post-welded surfaces, interpreting job requirements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. + Identify and repair insufficient welds efficiently, ensuring high-quality standards. **Essential Skills:** + Proficiency in MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore welding. + Experience in structural welding. + Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, and gas arc cutting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Proficiency in 4G and 3G welding. **Why Work Here?** + 3 weeks PTO + medical, dental, vision + 401k match + Company provides most tools needed + Opportunity to work into a forman role + Opportunity for pay raises **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
