Assembly Operators will be part of a growing, dynamic, and diverse team during a time of growth. Assembly Operators will work deflashing, grinding, drilling, and assembling thermoset box and vault assemblies of various sizes by using large to small hand-held grinders, hole saws, sanders, etc., and other small hand tools. Pay will begin at $20.50 per hour. In addition, as a newly hired employee with the company, you will be eligible to receive a $1000 retention bonus after the 90th day with Hubbell. Health care benefits start on the first of the month following your hire date. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. + Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policies + Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in a fast paced environment with repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push and pull with no difficulties, be on feet during 100 % of the work shift, and clearly communicate issues. EQUIVALENT EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: + Heavy manufacturing and construction experience preferred + High school diploma preferred but not required.
