Job Title: 1st Shift Line Attendant

Job Description

Line Attendants will be responsible for operations in Grated, Shred, Deli, Wedge, and Box departments and will be cross-trained in each. Responsibilities include inspections, packaging, loading and unloading raw materials into packaging machines, and sanitation. This is a cleanroom environment, so no nail polish, jewelry, fake nails, etc. are allowed on the production floor.

ResponsibilitiesOperate in Grated, Shred, Deli, Wedge, and Box departments.Perform inspections and quality checks.Package products efficiently and accurately.Load and unload raw materials into packaging machines.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.Essential SkillsExperience in production and general labor.Knowledge of cleanroom protocols.Proficiency in packaging and inspection.Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery.Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior food industry experience is a plus but not required.Why Work Here?

Initially strictly contract, but if attendance and performance are strong, and there are full-time positions available after 90 days, they will convert to direct hire when possible.

Work Environment

In the Whey Converting facility, the liquid is removed from the curd of the cheese to process cheese blocks. This area is warmer as the curd is pasteurized and processed through centrifuge machines and evaporation equipment. Hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6am to 6pm. Employees work 36 hours and are paid for 36 hours. The dress code includes a hair net, beard net, and steel-toed shoes. Absolutely no earrings, fake nails, jewelry, etc. are allowed on the floor at any time, and even permanent piercings must be removed prior to stepping into the production area.

This is a Contract-to-hire position based out of Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50
