Position Summary:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for any of the following: coordinating picking work, part replenishment, material checks, line part availability help, outage escalations, and problem-solving. They manage all paperwork that flows through the warehouse/supermarket and ensure the systems are up to date and accurate. They actively partner with fabrication, material planning, and assembly to minimize outages and solve shortages.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all triggers, signals, and paperwork are used and in place.Assist with Kanban database maintenance and execution internal and externalMaintain standard work related to material flow systems and processesLead Kanban set up and execution process to ensure part availabilityCommunicate, document, escalate and track part shortagesAssist in all material flow needs that ariseOther duties as assignedKey Competencies:
Problem Solving: Uses data analysis and excellent processes to help predict problem areas, identify areas of opportunity, and update standard workAnalytical: Superior analytical skillsComputer: High level proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Access, Excel, and Outlook (should have excel skills such as VLOOKUP’s and other intermediate excel knowledge)Communication: Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skillsOther Requirements:
