Job Description
This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices mostly in a clean room environment. The role includes the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using a microscope, and operation of various equipment and machinery. Candidates need to be comfortable standing all shift, have proficiency in English, and be willing to work overtime. Experience with microscope inspection is preferred, but candidates must be open to using it.
ResponsibilitiesOperating machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.Following manufacturing instructions and updating relevant job documentation accurately for traceability.Product packing and sterilization preparation.Product inspection using a microscope.Ensuring activities comply with GMPs.Setting up coating machines, coating, inspecting, and folding balloon catheters.Preparing excipient formulations and spray coating formulations.Testing formulations.Packaging sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.Identifying supplies that need to be replenished.Building components needed for top-level Work Orders.Completing cleaning activities as required.Essential Skills1+ year of experience in medical device manufacturing.1+ year of experience using a microscope for inspection.1+ year of experience with line clearance, pharmaceutical, aseptic, and formulation processes.Proficiency in English (medium level).High School diploma or equivalent education.Familiarity with cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.Willingness to work overtime and weekends.Comfortable standing all shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsMicroscope experience preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment primarily consists of cleanroom settings. The position includes two 30-minute breaks – one is an off-the-clock lunch break, and the other is an on-the-clock break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
