**Aerotek is hiring a 1st shift Welder!** **Job Description** Perform welding processes for fabricating and assembling metal carts, cabinets, and stainless tables. Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, pulling, pushing, assembling, and carrying for up to 10 hours per day. Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. **Responsibilities** + Determine welding process, equipment, or method based on product requirements + Set up components for welding according to job specifications + Follow safe manufacturing, material handling, and PPE procedures + Complete assignments based on written and verbal directions + Perform quality checks on finished work + Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area + Perform other assigned duties **Essential Skills** + MIG welding + TIG welding + Fabrication + MIG welding on metal + Blueprint reading **Why Work Here?** The company promotes from within and seeks long-term employees rather than short-term hires.
