Our foodservice business supplies many of the top restaurant chains in the United States. Overview Properly add rectangular folded dough pieces into a round tin pan. Rolls should be placed with folded side facing toward the center of the pan, with ten pieces around the edge and six placed in the middle. Rolls in the center should be placed in a round “flower” type shape. Responsibilities Add dough pieces to each pan, based on the “number “system. The number system directs the panner to put a certain number of rolls into a pan when their assigned number comes through on the pan belt. Inspect each piece of dough to make sure it is the proper size. Watch for any foreign material in each piece of dough. Ensure that the pieces of dough are not stacked on top of each other Make sure there are no gaps between the pieces of dough Make sure the pieces of dough are oriented in the correct direction Panners (at the end of the line) should make sure there is the appropriate amount of dough in each pan Panners (at the end of the line) should make sure that all quality rolls are placed in the pan and not allowed to go down the line into the rework bins. Maintain company standards for cleanliness, food safety and productivity in the processing area. Provide support for the processing supervisor and lead in maintaining continuous production. Assist in other positions when needed. Work cooperatively with other members of the processing area. Ensure compliance to quality, food safety, 5S, OSHA and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards by all in work area.
