Job Details:
This position is responsible for operating a scale and bagger system and keeping accurate count of all materials used while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Operate scale & bagger system. Maintain accurate weights and assist in evaluation of product to help ensure weights. Assist with clean-up and sanitation following USDA/Tyson guidelines. Maintain and keep accurate count on all materials used. All other duties assigned by Supervisor. All qualified applicant’s safety record will be reviewed. Follow safe practices including the use of personal protective equipment when required. Follow all sanitary procedures and policies. Lift up to 50-70 lbs. occasionally. Understand and follow instructions given by Supervisor.
Starting pay rate: $17.40/hr
Requirements:

If there no qualified candidates, probationary team members will be considered.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must not have a written warning/written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.Must not have a self-disqualification or self-demotion in the last (6) months.Successful bidders will not be allowed to bid for (6) months unless the bid is for a higher classification rating.Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, that holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.DISCRETIONARY JOBS are awarded to the best qualified candidate based on qualifications to include, work history, attendance, discipline, and position requirements.
