**Job Title: 1st Shift Shipping UPS Clerk** **Job Description** A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker. The role involves restocking inventory, dispatch, and managing overstock items. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload materials from trucks + Break down boxes and package items for shipment + Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders + Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed + Package items for shipment to local branches + Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach materials for the automotive industry (rolling stairs may range from 7-15 steps long) **Essential Skills** + Picking + RF scanner operation + Packing + Packaging + Pallet jack usage + Order picking + Shipping and Receiving **Why Work Here?** Upon becoming a permanent employee, you will receive a $0.50 pay increase and training on forklift operation, which can lead to an additional dollar increase. We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits. **Work Environment** The noise level in the work environment is usually high due to the operation of forklifts and other machinery. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime of up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Employees must wear plain shirts, jeans (without holes), and closed-toed shoes. No logos for beer, alcohol, etc. are allowed on clothing. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
