Job Description:

Location: Sanford, Maine

We’re looking for an experienced Direct Hire TIG Welder to join our client team in Sanford,ME! In this role, you’ll craft high-quality metal components that support critical industries. Responsibilities:

– Weld or tack weld metal parts together using TIG welding equipment.
– Inspect welds for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
– Measure, grind, and adjust parts to ensure specifications are met.
– Assemble structures by climbing ladders and utilizing low lifts to move parts.
– Perform surface testing and quality checks on welded materials.
– Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
– Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve production flow.
– Contribute to team initiatives for continuous improvement.

Desired Background/Skills:

**Minimum Requirements:**
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– 2-5 years of TIG welding experience.
– Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and interpreting job specifications.
– Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM), material types, and gauges.
– Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.

Other Information:

-1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:50am-3:10pm

– Hourly Rate: $20-$23/hr (based on experience)
