The Manager of People Operations will collaborate with our award-winning, innovative team to strengthen and advance our Human Capital operations.
The Manager of People Operations impacts students’ lives by:
+ Collaborating with the Director of Human Capital to create and maintain systems that improve customer service, efficiency, data accuracy, actionable reporting, and sustainability of all CCS HR processes
+ Designing and implementing benefits explanations and enrollment processes for all new employees, including whole-staff presentations for summer open enrollment
+ Providing high-quality customer service to staff regarding benefits, timekeeping, employment verification, and 401k matters, including managing our internal benefits inbox
+ Completing all steps necessary for benefits enrollment; communicating with the CCS finance team and benefits vendors
+ Conducting all aspects of HR onboarding and offboarding including background checks, required trainings and documentation, in addition to benefits
+ Mastering, maintaining, and improving ADP functionality for HR processes, including carrier connections. Ensuring ADP is kept up to date, and assisting staff in using ADP
+ Creating and maintaining all benefits, compensation, and HR compliance summaries, trackers, guides, and documentation
+ Reviewing and resolving benefits billing discrepancies
+ Managing the employee offer & stipend letter process
+ Managing network-wide timekeeping with UKG
+ Completing and submitting leave paperwork for staff
+ Staying updated on HR-related policy changes, including those from the DOL and IRS, and updating the Crescent City Schools Personnel Manual accordingly
+ Managing wage garnishments and ensuring proper payroll deductions
+ Regularly verifying payroll accuracy, including salary adjustments, benefits changes, and new hire payroll processing
+ Participating in the life of the schools within the network by attending staff meetings and celebrations and providing support as needed
+ Taking on other projects and tasks, as assigned

Physical Requirements
+ Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
+ This is a hybrid position, with about 60% of your time in-person
+ This role requires regular local travel between school sites
