Job id# 20241 - SAP Business System Analyst Savannah, GA Purpose of this position: The SAP HCM Business Systems Analyst role at Hyundai Meta plant (HMGMA) Manufacturing involves leading HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions, supporting business systems like SAP HR (especially US payroll) and Time management, and collaborating with Korea HQ to enhance and implement HCM best practices. As an SAP SuccessFactors Specialist, this position is part of the global Human Resources function and plays a key role in ensuring that Hyundai Meta plant (HMGMA) Manufacturing deliver a flawless experience within the SAP US pay roll & time management suite to meet business needs. The role applies technical and functional HR knowledge to the improvement, maintenance and development of SAP US Payroll and time management to support the HR business requirements. Essential Functions: + Be involved in keeping it running and evolutive maintenance of SAP ERP solution. + Maintain cyclical US payroll processes and Time management to ensure timely and accurate employee pay data, by supporting the bi-weekly validation and review of new employee data in preparation of scheduled payroll process. + Takes the lead role in Assisting with the business case, Planning and monitoring, eliciting requirements, Requirements organization, Translating and simplifying requirements, Requirements management and communication, and Requirements analysis. + Along with the other team members, oversee Incident management, Checking and solving customizing issues, Bug fixing, Investigation of escalated problems, Monitoring of interfaces and replications, Enhancement management, Analysis and application implementation, improvements, Writing general as well as detailed, functional specifications, Integration tests & business support for UAT, the application documentation, Contribution to workload estimations. + Keeps a general overview of the solution's architecture and its evolution and is accessible for all matters in the functional domain of Sr Business Systems Analyst. + Stay updated with technical developments and evolutions in Sr Business Systems Analyst. + Performs a fit-gap analysis for business requirements and delivers solutions in line with standard SAP. + Decompose high-level information into detail and be able to animate workshops with end-users and business representatives. + Distinguish requests from the underlying business needs. + Maintains a regular physical presence close to business interlocutors and Key Users to assist them in the development and daily management of their applications. + Respect the operating procedures and methodology effective within HAEA-AM + Respect working in collaboration with external partners according to the HAEA IT model. + Supports HQ teams in the maintenance of the SAP solution and its evolution in line with the requirements of our CBU. + On-call support. + Performs other duties as assigned. Scope Indicators: As an Sr Business Systems Analyst at Hyundai/Kia Motors Manufacturing, your role encompasses many responsibilities related to Human Resource and SAP systems. To ensure the successful execution of your duties, it is essential to establish a set of indicators that will help measure your performance and contributions. The following scope of indicators is designed to assess your effectiveness in key areas: + SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors Expertise + Business Systems Support + Collaboration with Korea HQ Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, the Sr Business Systems Analyst may lead small project teams or guide junior team members on specific tasks or projects. Required Skills / Education: Education bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. Related Work Experience (Yrs.) • At least 3-5 years of hands-on configuration, development, or support of SAP HR area • Minimum of 3 years of ERP Project Execution/ management experience •  Notable U.S. Payroll experience. Skills/Knowledge: + The ability to set expectations explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners. + Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem. + Excellent customer service skills required. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse executives, managers, and subject matter experts. + Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment. + Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe. + Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills + The ability to communicate and manage remotely in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues. + Must have the ability to question the status quo. Certifications (Required/Preferred): + SAP HR certification preferred. + PHR certification preferred. Note:   Some travel, including international travel, may be required.
