Fund Services comprises of multiple teams, including Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting. The Fund Accounting team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of NAV for Clients who have outsourced their Fund Accounting to JPMorganChase. This involves understanding and executing end to end activities that comprises of daily NAV calculation and EOD Client reporting. The Financial Reporting Team takes responsibility for the production, review and delivery of annual and interim financial statements and related accounting/portfolio information for key mutual fund clients. 

Asset Servicing roles are responsible for managing all corporate and income related events across all asset classes for collections, announcement capture, corporate actions processing, income processing,  entitlement completion and payment processing, claims management, Reconcile positions, payments and process transactions to client’s account

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibility will be to deliver for specific clients in either Fund Accounting or Financial Reporting Perform activities on time while adhering to regulatory norms and guidelines Leverage knowledge to identify improvements in process in response to client requirements Escalate issues to leads on time and work with relevant parties to implement solutions Performs both routine and non-routine asset servicing transactions and tasks with moderate to advanced complexity by leveraging intermediate to advanced subject matter expertise. This may include diagnosing problems and providing operational or technical resolution within defined and limited autonomy. Involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, income, or taxes, and resolving queries across multiple corporate- and income-related events. Understanding of asset servicing lifecycle. Serves as point of contact for internal communication with Middle Office and Client Service. Additional responsibilities include peer work review and offering suggestions on process improvements.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Qualified CA  Should have completed minimum 2 years of Articleship Post CA Work Experience: 0 – 6 Months (excluding articleship) Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, internal and external reporting, and variance analysis Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and a team player Excellent aptitude to solve problems. Curiosity to learn and engage continuously across teams and divisions Ability to manage risk and drive excellence for our clients Willingness to work in different time zones Comfortable to join our offices in Mumbai,Bengaluru & Hyderabad
