What You’ll Do:
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll be an essential part of our team. You’ll work on projects that serve both private and public sectors, gaining exposure to market sectors such as Commercial, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Education, Transportation, and more. Some of the exciting things you'll work on include:
Assisting with designing, analyzing, and implementing civil engineering projects. Collaborating with engineers and project teams to develop creative solutions. Contributing to team meetings with your ideas and a proactive attitude. Supporting project documentation, including reports, presentations, and research. Participating in fieldwork, including site observation and data collection.You’ll also have access to mentorship opportunities through our educational workshops, open civil forums, and office collaborations, helping you advance your career while building meaningful relationships. Who We’re Looking For:
A strong passion for pursuing a career in civil engineering, with a focus on consulting. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in civil engineering with at least two years of completed coursework, or enrolled in a Master’s program with at least one year of completed coursework. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other relevant software. EIT certification or a plan to pursue it is highly preferred. Previous internship experience is a plus, but we encourage all candidates with exceptional attributes to apply.Physical Requirements:
Ability to work on a computer for extended periods, review plans, and conduct site visits. Comfort navigating client sites, climbing ladders, and walking on uneven terrain. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.Work Schedule and Flexibility:
We prefer interns to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week), but we are flexible based on your availability. If you have summer classes or specific schedule needs, please share them during the interview. We’ll also work with you on start and end dates to accommodate different university break schedules. We aim to provide you with a meaningful internship that maximizes your learning and professional development while offering some flexibility to accommodate your academic schedule.
