**Overview:** The Executive Associate Program is designed for 2nd year MBA students who seek to accelerate their career within M&T Bank. Program hires will undergo an immersive leadership experience designed to develop leadership competencies and strategic capabilities. Throughout the first year, the incoming cohort will be introduced to Program alumni, bank wide leadership, and collaborate with peers to drive change to support the vision and goals of the Bank. The Credit Product Delivery team provides oversight to the Commercial Credit product lines including CRE, C&I, and other specialty business units. These teams have a focus on employee and customer experience, and support ongoing product transformation and innovation. There’s opportunity to work alongside a few different Center’s of Excellence within the greater department: + **The Credit Team:** Focuses on working with strategic experts and stakeholders who make up our commercial credit teams. This group understands business needs, leading processes, redesigns, and road mapping solutions. + **The Product Team:** Enables the processes provided by the Credit teams with the internal technology/platforms within the Bank. + **User Support Team:** Engages with the above teams to provide tech support for platforms & processes and provides education and general knowledge sharing to the greater group. **Overview:** As an Executive Associate within the team, you’ll join the Product team and collaborate with the COE for the management of a single product line or the services for a market segment to include the design, development, implementation, and marketing. Collectively, you’ll ensure product/services are marketable, profitable and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Recommend product pricing and understand cost structure, as well as understand and manage product risk. Ensure product complies with legal or regulatory requirements. Responsible for all product financials, including revenue planning and product profitability. + Manage all aspects of new product implementation and existing product modification to include but not limited to the design and development of services; act in a liaison capacity with affected departments. + Review new developments in company markets, evaluating and recommending new services or new products, or the modification of existing services or products. + Establish marketing objectives; work with other bank departments to develop effective programs to sell services/products. + Evaluate new product/services success; recommend changes in service or marketing strategy. Recommend product pricing, understanding the cost structure. + Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and company products and services. + Performs reporting and analysis relating to the product portfolio. **Scope of Responsibilities:** Perform project/management related assignments in field of expertise within the Executive Associate Program. **Supervisory/ Managerial Responsibilities:** None **Education and Experience Required:** Completed MBA from an accredited business school. Minimum two years professional, full time work experience. Demonstrated leadership potential, as evidenced through previous work experience, extracurricular activities, or community involvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically analyze complex business challenges Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines Work visa sponsorship not offered for this role M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $171,000. The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
