Job Summary:

The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit Team has a great opportunity for a Procurement Professional in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to support LADS through the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team. 

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Prepare and Issue RFP’sPlace purchase orders of low/medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).Support/Lead negotiation strategies and Support/Lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions).Support/Lead price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals.Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc) to achieve objectives

Qualifications you Must Have:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Preferred majors: Business, Finance, Operations Management, Supply ChainSAP/PRISM based environment experienceKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
