As an Intern in Analytical Sciences at mRNA Center of Excellence, you will gain practical experience in digitalization of lab information and obtain hands on experience in the characterization of mRNA vaccines in development.

Main Responsibilities:

Digitalization of lab information

Establish and maintain digital database of reagents and standards in CisPro to enhance iLab applications.

Build a library of version controlled analytical procedure documents to support data transformation.

Collect and trend control data to track assay performance.

Characterization of mRNA vaccines in development

Perform analytical testing in the lab, data analysis, and related document writing with a critical eye at the relevance of the results.

Develop and write experimental protocols

Summarize, communicate and/or present the progress of your work.

Participate in the continuous improvement of laboratory safety and quality compliance.

Compliant to Sanofi Quality standards and HSE policy. Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory safety and quality compliance.

About You
 

**Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship** 

Basic Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027 

Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi 

Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week on site, Monday-Friday

Must have permanent US work authorization 

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of research experience in academic or industrial laboratory setting.

Candidate should demonstrate excellent organization skills.

Candidate must have general wet lab skills and hands-on experience in working with common chemical reagents.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team to complete assignments within defined time constraints.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential qualities include ability to work in a fast paced, matrix environment; agility to respond to urgent requests and capable of multi-tasking.  

Ability to work full time onsite in an analytical lab environment.
