Job Summary:
As a member of our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team, we want you to develop solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Anti-Tamper (AT), Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems.
This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate Technical Intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
(Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Sophomore by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment(Senior Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment(Post-Graduate Technical Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internshipResponsibilities to Anticipate:
Supporting the development of cybersecurity / anti-tamper requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policiesDefining security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software componentUnderstanding and integrating cybersecurity development activitiesPerforming analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test resultsConducting technical and nontechnical trade studiesValidate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, usingDoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as ACAS, STIG, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSSApply written and oral communication skillsParticipate in the design and development of systemsBasic Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware development, Systems Integration and/or Test, ASIC development, Cybersecurity, System Security, Digital Electronics design or similar work history.The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
