Do you want an inside peak of what it’s like to work in the fashion and retail industry? Do you want to connect with Belk Senior Leaders? Do you want to see the upcoming trends in fashion, supply chain and retail analytics?
This opportunity will allow you to see how Belk operates as a company. You will engage with other college students through seminars, speakers, shadowing roles, and a team Belk case study!
What the Program Offers:
A 3-day onsite program for rising college juniors at the Belk corporate office (Charlotte, NC)
Learn more about Big Box Retail and the eCommerce Industry
Network with Belk Senior Leaders
Shadow and learn about key functions in our business: Buying and Planning
The opportunity to compete in a Belk case study competition, where you will work alongside other fellowship cohort participants to develop innovative solutions aligned to key priorities and organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
Preferred GPA of 3.2 or above from a strong academic program
Preferred majors: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, and Retail Management
Positive attitude, true team player, driven for results, adaptability, and a continuous learner
An excitement and interest in the fashion and retail Industry
Critical thinking and the ability to problem solve with creative ideas
Graduation Date of Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
Additional Details:
Strong applicants will be selected for a phone interview with a member of our recruiting team. Selected candidates will be invited to attend the Sophomore Spree.
Participants will be responsible for providing their own transportation to Charlotte for the Sophomore Spree.
Once in Charlotte, we will provide hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation to events in Charlotte.
The Sophomore Spree Program will be held in late May 2024
