What we're looking for:
Grad Dates: December 2025 & May 2026 grads
Location: Miami, FL
Format: In Person, Part-time (up to 30 hours / week)
Dates: February 3rd - May 30th, 2025 (possible extension to Summer Internship Program)
Position Summary:
The coordinator is responsible for architect and design coordination, supervision and inspections of public and crew areas, staterooms, stairways and backhouse areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review of architect drawings and other architectural documentation and material.
Coordinate communications with architects, shipyard, suppliers and consultants.
Support of new build contract specification process.
Follow-up and reporting of building progress and overall responsibility for all outfitting works.
Holds operational inspections and leads interior supervision team.
Coordinate mock-up and factory inspections.
Ensures compliance with authorities.
Coordinates modifications with architects as necessary.
Assists Owner Supply and Yard Related items coordination.
Qualifications
Relevant education in the field of design and architecture.
Experience from new building site surveys, especially from the own field of expertise.
Strong teambuilder skills.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal), other languages as an advantage.
Relevant computer skills (excel, AutoCAD, word, PowerPoint).
Experience of cruise shipbuilding and design.
Ability to read and update drawings to a high standard.
Positive and open in communication and co-operation in multicultural environment.
Ability to work on simultaneously projects and multiple locations.
Willingness to travel.
