We are seeking a highly motivated research intern interested in getting hands-on experience with the Measurement & Insights capability within the Client & Employee Experience (CX+EX) team. To be successful, the candidate must be intellectually curious, excel at uncovering insights across large data sets and multiple studies, and create concise and compelling presentations. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain project experience on developing and delivering qualitative and quantitative primary market research and competitive intelligence. This person should have a desire to learn new skills and methods and have an interest in experience opportunities specific to the financial sector.
About the CX+EX Team
The CX+EX Team are passionate advocates for KeyBank’s clients and teammates. We combine transformational experience capabilities across research & analysis, experience strategy, design & development, and employee experience. These capabilities are used to collaborate across the bank to create relevant and differentiated experiences that drive client, teammate and business outcomes.
The Measurement & Insights team brings together researchers and analysts to lead research projects end-to-end, from ideation to insights delivery. The team ensures the voice of the client is represented throughout the bank through client listening and translating their needs and expectations into actionable insights.
Competencies
Deep interest in data with strong quantitative, analytical skills, and knowledge of statistical techniques and data mining concepts and approachesPreferred exposure to programming for data analysis and statistical/ numerical techniques (SAS, Python, R, SPSS, or advanced Excel skills)Ability to perform data analysis, research, and draw actionable insights through analysis with integrity and accuracyEffective oral and written communication skills to concisely explain quantitative techniques and perspectives to various audiences, including effective data visualizationsAptitude for problem solving using analytical techniques across a broad spectrum of business areasCollaboratively focused and able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders across the CX+EX TeamCritical thinker with a curious mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learnEducation
Current Sophomore (graduating 2026) or Junior (graduating 2025)Current Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or Graduate degree in Customer Experience, Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Communications, Finance, Computer Science, or other related degreesCompensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $23 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
